You are all invited to join in the Dinnies Balik Kampung & Concert Celebration that will be taking place on the 2nd day of Raya. You may or may not know about it yet, hey...now you do! Hanna is the main organizer, so please check with her for more info.

Venue: Darul Hikmah, Gopeng

Date: Second Raya (when is second Raya huh?)

Programme of Events: Please refer to Aisha's note for a rough idea.

Please join in the celebrations. Many of us will rough it out at the Darul Hikmah orphanage, some will be retiring for the night at a nearby resthouse/hotel. Please consult Hanna on the sleeping arrangements.

BUT what I need is for the performer in you to shine on the BBQ night. We've got a stage, one of the boys will attend to the sound system. Bring out your guitars, incredible voices and join in the fun. Dinnie moms and dads, please get your little ones ready to sing.

I will need all who will be performing to send in your song list so that we can download them.

Thank you!!!

Love ya,

Nina Bobo

p.s. I am tagging at least one member from each main Dinnie family. So please be sure to inform your parents and siblings!

Jimmy Choo details!

Sorry dearest family,

Forgot to attach the link so you could peruse at leisure the details of this course. Click here for Lara's Shoe Design Course.

Love,
Nina

Mini Jimmy Choos perhaps?

Hi ya there Dinnies,

For those of you with kids 5 years and above I would like to extend an invitation. Tia, Akir, Nana, Aisha you guys would probably know about this.

Well there's this children's educational centre called Lara's Place that we went to once. Omar, Taufik, Imran, Mikael and Omar had fun putting together a presentation for us and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Well Lara's Place is having a shoe designing workshop for 5 years and above till 12 years old this coming Saturday. They have several sessions and I know that yesterday was the closing date, but who knows we might be able to wrangle ourselves in. Here are the details,

Date: Saturday 9th April 2011
Sessions: First at 9.30-11.30 and Second at 3.30-5.30
Cost: RM 55 per child

I am enrolling Taufik for the second session and hope that he would have some cuzzies to join him in the fun. If you'd like to join in please e-mail Lara directly or I can enquire for you.

Love,
Nina Bobs

Spring has arrived.... and then the rain starts.

Hello family members

How are things at your end? We are well and truly happy that the sun has decided to make an appearance on an otherwise dull day. Just when you think the days are going to be bright and sunny, the rain god decided to say otherwise... so the rain is going to dampen our enthusiasm for sun worshiping and give us rain all week.

Jasmine has finished all of her 42 sounds and they have started on constructing words and she's not a happy camper. She keeps telling me that she's trying her best and I'm saying to her 'okay, but try a bit harder'. The Asian mummy wants her to go all the way - talk about being a pushy parent. I have to remind myself to slow down. She's only 5. Looks like the Malaysian relocation is going to be a distant memory as hubby hasn't got any feedback from Aecom branch in PJ about the possibility of relocation. He was very disappointed. Mind you, he was hoping that all would be well. Next year we will go back to KL for a long holiday.... so cousins, I will try to endeavour to see you guys and perhaps try to wing it to Jakarta and see Aisha and her boys.... if you guys are still around.

Jasmine celebrated her 5th birthday recently on 1 March. Though her party didn't started till the 19th March, she was all for everyone coming to her party. It was a logistical nightmare. We had to streamline the numbers from 28 to half of that. She wasn't too happy about it. Told her that our house was too small to accommodate such numbers but thank God for Jumping Jacks. She did enjoyed herself with all girlfriends. Can't believe she's 5 already. Where have all the
years gone by? She's already asking how long will she be when she's going to be 10. I told her
'hang on, don't be in a rush to get older'.

Before you ask whether we're considering having another one... sorry to disappoint you guys. It's not on the cards.... I'm going to be 42 this year and I don't think I'd be in a position to produce any eggs let alone get the other half to donate the other part :) She has just got to start re-invent the imaginary friends to keep her companies... but you never know the hot weather is coming our way, so maybe it could happen... though *hmm* mental note.

So that's all to it.... If I missed anybody, this coming Sunday is Mothers' Day... so have a very relaxing one and I hope to update you guys soon. It is also my hubby's 45th birthday and he has turned into one of those men who complains a lot - heresay into a very grumpy old man *sigh*

Hugs and Kisses
Julia from Ireland

Foot in the Mouth Disease : Sex Education Classes

Halllow folks....

What up? KL ape macam....anyone seen Anwar Sex tapes....urrgh....

Anyway just to share with u all one of the biggest mistake that I've made since becoming a father of 3...

A buddy of mine on Facebook alerted me to this video

Take a look.....please visit our who lets the din blog , not sure if you can see it on your mobile via email or not

L'Odyssée de la vie - Genesis from Genitori Channel on Vimeo.

It's the process of life....which starts from how the sperm got ejaculated all the way till beranak......

Macho giler babeng.....A MUST See for those who fail biology and still thinks storks deliver babies..

So gua pun semangat la tengok tapi tak perasan Mikael and Malik stopped playing and was standing behind me..

Holy Shit....

Thousands of question started coming...

So gua pun semangat la explain kat dua ekor budak ni.....

Shit like u "remember Mak's tummy"..."How it grew big"......

Yadiya diya......all fine.....

Then came the part on the Egg and the Sperm....

Mmm.......Egg was easy to explain ......but the Berudu like thing is another topic altogether....

Gua stuck siut!

Cause they kept asking what is that fish looking thing at the start of the video...

How it got there Papa?

Shit like did it fly there papa...did it take a train ...was there Ultraman....the Flash ....etc... semua keluar.......

And mikeal had this cheeky smile...while asking those difficult questions......

Mental siut...gua rase macam masuk Special Branch Interrogation Room....

BTW if u folks are wondering.....Aisha was out with her buddies.......

Gua pun tukar topic cerita pasal Spiderman...... pasang DVD and got some M&M chocolates....

seems to works......

then....

But papa .....how did the sperm got into the tummy?

Fark!!

I give up......and kept quiet......and said I will explain it to you when you are bigger.....

Budak tu boleh sengih kat gua......but why papa?

I said....Once you are bigger......with an authoritative voice.....

case closed............so far.....

Bini pun balik la malam tu.......gua pun confess.........habis kena sapu baik punye.......

So i said...."over to you sayang"

let's monitor if they ask about it again......

Wife is so worried that our kids gonna go to their kindergarten as start talking about sperm and eggs....

Imagine in "story time" my kids going up on stage...."What did you do during the holidays?"

oh..oh ....we learn about how babies are made.....

What kinda parents would people think of us?

Should we even bother about what people think of us?

What if my kids starts going up to pregnant women and ask them how did the sperm got into you?

Was it Power Rangers?

Pulau Redang Help!

Hello there family!

I love having this blog, it's so easy to ask everyone for help. :)

I hope that all of you are enjoying the new year. Has it proved to be promising so far? I am quite happy with myself, keeping up with all my resolutions still, even though I am slightly delayed in meeting some of my targets. But that's alright...easy does it ya?

Anyways, I am planning a small humble family vacation for us and am thinking of going down to Pulau Redang. Taufik loves the train ride he took to Chiang Mai with my mom and siblings...and I promised him that we'll take a train trip together as a family son. So down to Redang from Bangkok by train, and a few days of enjoying the sun and beach.

Would love to stay in a beautiful hotel and was wondering since a number of you love diving, if you could recommend me a good place to stay. Pretty please.

Tia and Akir, you must surely know something good there.

Do write in with the latest that's going on in your life. Miss the frantic e-mails that come in from all of you whenever there is a posting.

On a last note, for those of you who are intimidated by all the witty and hilarious postings/remarks/comments made, please don't feel that way. Keep it simply and keep sharing. That's all that matters.

Love you all,
Nina
